Once you complete your Level 1 certification, Level 2 is the next step in your Color Vowel® Journey to becoming a confident, creative, and intuitive teacher of spoken English and pronunciation. Level 2 Core courses provide you with a deep dive into the fundamental principles behind the brain-based strategies of the Color Vowel® Approach.
Purchase this bundle to complete Level 2 Core Training by taking Core courses in May, June, July, and August. Please note that the April Sound Awareness class meets on a different day and at a different time than the other three courses.

Who Should Get This Bundle
You must have completed Level 1 Certification before beginning Level 2 Core classes.
Non-native English-speaking teachers should have high intermediate or advanced skills. Those who wish to improve their own pronunciation and sound awareness are encouraged to enroll in Speak Confidently!

Dr. Robin Barr
ELTS Lead Phonologist
Robin Barr holds a PhD in Linguistics from Harvard, an MA in Linguistics from Harvard, and a BA in Linguistics from Yale. Dr. Barr teaches dyslexic adult learners at the Washington Literacy Council, where she has developed a responsive curriculum that combines traditional phonics with brain-based strategies from the Color Vowel® Approach. As Lead Phonologist, Robin advises ELTS during design phases of the Color Vowel® Chart and provides training around topics ranging from teaching pronunciation and L1/L2 dyslexia intervention to brain-based language instruction and phonological awareness training.
Karen Taylor
Director, ELTS
Karen Taylor co-founded ELTS in 2011 in response to a popular demand for the Color Vowel® Chart, a teaching tool she created in 1999. She holds an MA in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a BA in English Literature from Georgetown University, as well as an International Baccalaureate from the United World College (US campus). A former Fulbright TEFL Specialist, Karen was the Practitioner in Residence at American University for nine years. She received Ed Tech’s 2020 Visionary Leader award for her work as Head of Education at Blue Canoe Learning Inc.

If you select the monthly payment option, your credit card will be charged automatically each month. You get the bundle discount price for each course but pay a small additional admin charge.
If you are unable to complete all of the Core classes you've purchased, we can enroll you in future sessions of the missed classes.
Our Level 2 courses are all designed to be interactive as you explore the deeper concepts of teaching spoken English. Participants are allowed one absence but asynchronous attendance is not usually appropriate for these courses. At this time we do not offer an on-demand or asynchronous version of these courses. Live attendance is required.
We offer the courses in the same order each time, but it doesn't matter when you start. If you purchase a bundle after some of the classes have finished, we can enroll you in later sessions of those classes.
We don't currently offer Level 2 Elective bundles, but we hope to in the future!
